Moving Tips

• Use the correct sized boxes.

• Pack heavier boxes first toward the front of the truck, for balance.

• Don't leave empty spaces in packed boxes.

• Avoid mixing items from different rooms in the same box.

• Label each box with the room it's destined for and a description of its contents.

• If you're moving expensive art, ask your mover about special crating.

• Bundle breakables well.

• Consider other items that will need special treatment.

• Start packing items you will not need, ahead of time.

• Always pack and unpack breakables over a padded surface.

• Always tape boxes well. Don't interlock the tops.
